Experts say that we take in 53% of all information visually. The highest level coming from what we perceive as being well deigned.

Design though, isn’t just pretty pictures, design is about being ‘aesthetically fit for purpose’.

Even in today’s hi-tech world, there is no computer that can process visual information better than the human brain. We can determin nuances, messages and intentions just from the way something looks. All in a fraction of a second.

Therefore when it comes to getting our message across, be that a sales pitch, brand reinforcement or a feeling, design plays a very big role. Given the amount of effort that’s gone into evolution, who are we to ignore the importance of design? So let’s take advantage of it.
